Canada is a North American country consisting of ten provinces and three territories. It stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific and from the latitude of Rome to beyond the Magnetic North Pole. Its archetypal landscapes are the Rockies’ lakes and peaks, the endless forests and the prairie wheat fields, but Canada holds landscapes that defy expectations; rainforest and desert lie close together in the southwest corner of the country, while in the east a short drive can take you from fjords to lush orchards. Canada is high on tourist preferred destination itineraries, as it offers a unique peek into its multi-cultural and bio-geographical diversity. It is relatively free from all sorts of discrimination and divide, a fact most Canadians are proud about. Canada advocates multiculturalism by encouraging all Canadians to participate in all aspects of life. Everyone in Canada is treated as equal.
