Alberta invites around immigration candidates in it’s PNP draw !!

Have you ever dreamt of immigrating to Canada ? Have you thought of starting your life from a new phase by immigrating to Canada? Have you ever felt confused that which province in Canada best suites you? If yes, then this blog is for you. In this blog, we are going to talk about Alberta and the latest news regarding it’s immigration updates. Alberta is a province situated in the western region of Canada. It has abundance of natural beauty and has rich mineral
deposits embedded in it’s soil.
It’s capital city is Edmonton. The overall population of the province of Alberta as per the 2019 census is around 44 lakhs. This province itself represents the natural beauty of Canada. About thousands of people visit this province in order to witness what we call ‘Heaven on Earth’. Alberta had numerous employment opportunities that people are unaware about.
From skilled workers to white collar jobs, this province has everything to offer.

Recently, the government of Alberta invited around 300 immigration candidates in it’s new PNP draw.
Candidates with CRS score as low as 300 have been invited through the Alberta Express Entry Stream.

On October 12th, Alberta released details of an immigration draw which was the first one held by the province this months. Over the course of last month, the province held four draws each with minimum score requirements of 300. A total of 1610 invitations were issued last month alone.

But how does the Alberta Express Entry Stream work?

The Alberta Express Entry Stream is an enhanced Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). It allows the provincial government to search the federal government’s Express Entry pool of candidates for profiles of people who may be eligible for a provincial nomination.
Express Entry is the application
management system for the three Federal High Skilled programs:-
• Canadian Experience Class
•Federal Skilled Trades Program
•Federal Skilled Worker Program

If a candidate is eligible for Express Entry, he will get a score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System that is the CRS.The candidate gets the points based upon his age, work experience, language ability in English or French and many other factors.
Canada’s immigration department i.e. IRCC regularly holds Express Entry draws inviting the highest-scoring candidates to apply for Permanent Residence.
It is possible to immigrate through the Express Entry system without a provincial nomination but people who have low CRS can choose PNP. Provincial nominees automatically get 600 points added to their overall score which means that their permanent residency is on It’s way.

• The government of Alberta does not provide the list of eligible occupations rather it provides a list of occupations that are not eligible for the stream. Many who apply under the AINP i.e. Alberta Immigration Nominee Program work as:-
• Food service supervisors.
• Transport truck drivers.
• Cooks.
• Skilled workers.

Certain factors such as your age, work experience, job offer, Canadian education, family member living in Alberta such as parent, sibling or child affect your likelihood of being nominated.
So this was all related to the latest immigration news regarding Alberta. We hope you liked this information…
