MAGICAL TIPS Of SPEAKING Module:

Module 1: Read Aloud

Stressless Read Alouds

 It is simply a small paragraph that you have to read as clear as much possible. It is very easy if you follow these rules.

  1. Practice reading aloud:   Regularly practice read aloud to improve your pronunciation, intonation,  and  fluency
  2. Focus on key words: Emphasize key words and phrases to convey the main  idea of the text.
  3. Use correct intonation: Use rising and falling intonation to convey meaning   and attitude.
  4. Speak clearly and slowly: Pronounce clearly and speak at a moderate pace to ensure the microphone captures your voice accurately.

Module 2: Repeat Sentences

  • Repeat sentence is a task that tests your ability to repeat a sentence accurately and fluently. Students, there is no need to take stress in this part as there is nothing difficult in this. Just listen carefully and speak as much words as you can.
  1. Listen carefully: Pay close attention to the sentence and try to recall it.
  2. Focus on key words and phrases: Identify the main ideas and key words in the sentence to help you recall it accurately.
  3. Speak naturally: Repeat the sentence in a natural tone and pace.
  4. Use correct grammar and vocabulary: Ensure you use the correct grammar and vocabulary when repeating the sentence.

Module 3: Describe Images

  • In this task, there will be an image on the screen and you have to describe in detail within 40 seconds.  No need to worry about the types of images, it will be very basic types of image and everybody will get 25 seconds of time to prepare for that image before recording.
  1. Take a moment to analyze the image: Quickly scan the image to identify the main elements and their relationships. You will get 25 seconds for practicing.
  2. Use descriptive language: Use vivid and descriptive language to describe a picture of the image in the listener’s mind.
  3. Focus on key features: Identify the most important features of the image and describe them in detail. For example, keywords, elements, years, age groups, percentages etcetera.
  4. Use correct grammar and vocabulary: Ensure you use correct grammar and vocabulary when describing the image.

Module 4: Retell Lecture

  • In this task, you will listen to a short lecture of around 1 minute on any topic and you have to write key points on the notebook and then retell that  points  in your own words.
  1. Take notes: Take brief notes on the main points and key information presented in the lecture.
  2. Focus on key information: Identify the most important information and summarize it in your own words.
  3. Use your own words: Avoid copying phrases or sentences from the lecture; instead, paraphrase the information in your own words.
  4. Speak clearly and concisely: Deliver your summary clearly and concisely, without filler words or hesitation.

Module 5: Answer Short Question

  • In this section, Different questions will be asked on various topics like general knowledge, academic topics etcetera.
  1. Listen carefully: Pay close attention to the questions and ensure you understand what is being asked.
  2. Keep your answer brief: Provide a direct answer to the question mainly in 1 or 2 words. Avoid giving full line answer.
  3. Avoid filler words: Try to avoid using filler words (e.g., “um,” “ah”) and speak confidently. You need to give exact answer in 1 or 2 words instead of fillers. If you will take pause of more than 3 seconds, and speak after the 3 seconds, then your answer will not be recorded.
