Australia to reopen it’s international borders from 21 February for tourists…

The Australian government has been making a lot of changes in it’s immigration strategies lately. From the end of last year till now, there have been a lot of significant changes made by the country that have either turned out or will turn out to be beneficial for the country as well as the individuals who are planning to come to Australia.

Last year, after almost 2 years, the country lifted the ban on international travel and allowed students who had their study visa to come to Australia and start attending offline classes. However, they made sure that every student that was entering the country was fully vaccinated.

At that time, the borders were only opened for international students that had their study visas approved and for the local residents who were stuck in some other country due to the pandemic. Tourists were not allowed to enter the country as the government thought that the time was not right keeping in mind the situation of COVID.

This step was taken analysing the situation of country’s economy at that time which actually fell to a very low level. There were a lot of job vacancies in which international students could enrol themselves and contribute towards the country’s economy. That move made by the Australian government really turned out to be a great one for the country as well as the aspirants who had been waiting so long to study and start their career life in their dream country.

Recently, there has been a big announcement made by the Australian Prime Minister. Scott Morrison has recently announced that the country will reopen it’s international borders for everyone who aspires to come to Australia. This change is to be implemented from 21st February. This will allow tourists to enter Australia and witness the beauty of the nation. However, the one condition that remains the same is that the travellers are supposed to be fully vaccinated. Any individual who is not fully vaccinated will not be allowed to enter the country.

This announcement has been made keeping in mind the fact that the COVID pandemic is almost at it’s end and the world has started to normalise, the way it was back in 2019. Moreover, this step taken by the Australian government will generate extra revenue for the country as the tourists will enter and  explore     the  beautiful nation…
